I read…a lot. But I write (a lot), too.
I am a book reviews editor at School Library Journal in New York City and a contributing writer for the Boston Globe. I have written about books, culture, and travel for the New York Times, Slate, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Los Angeles Review of Books, and a bunch of other places.
I belong to the National Book Critics Circle because the events and community are fantastic and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators because I love children’s books and YA.
